How many weeks? My Auntie says 9 months is the right time, my mom says 10 months. My mom was 40 weeks pregnant when she went into labour with all three of her kids, while my auntie was 36 weeks with her first, and 38 with her second.

40 weeks is considered full term. Anytime after 36 weeks the baby should be fine. Before 36, and the doctors will be very careful.

I took castor oil. 2 tsp in a pair of million/2 cup of orange juice to mask the flavour. Then approximately 2 hours later I had a extensive BM which emptied my physique of something that could finally end up on the table throughout the time of transport (i.e. extra BM). I then took a bathtub on a similar time as stimulating my breasts which clearly produces oxytocin which stimulates contractions. After my bathe I have been given dressed, made some tea, and sat all the way down to drink it and SPLAT!! My water broke. I had a delivery at a birthing midsection below 5 hours later. It replaced into large and that i bypass to do it back next month. stable good fortune!!

40 weeks is a normal pregnancy. I am not sure where the "9 months" came from. You can deliver anytime between 38 and 42 weeks and it is considered "on time" and normal.
Good Luck!!!

full term is 40 weeks. some people go in to labour sooner, I dont think there is a set timeline of when you 'SHOULD" go into labour..
I never did go into labour, I was induced at 42 weeks. so really its all different. 36 weeks is still early though

40 weeks is considered full term. However, pregnancy is counted by the fist day of your last period, which is usually 2 weeks earlier. So, they both are right. They might just be adding from 2 different dates. Pregnancy is 38 weeks long, doctors go by the LMP, so it is 40 weeks. So, when you actually conceive, you are 2 weeks along already. Hopefully, I didn't confuse you.

it is technically 9 1/2 months. 40 wks if full term. But most ladies go into labor between 38-40wks. So they both are right.
