I need an example. The only one I think of is Angela Bassett's role in The Rosa Parks Story. She is more of a caramel brown. Maybe she was just the right actress for the role.

I also think of Jeffrey Wright playing Dr. King on "Boycott." He was very light-skinned to play Dr. King who was more of a mocha color.

Sometimes they just cast who they want!!
