when i was younger i used to watch this show about a guy who got the news paper before the day it was supposed to get out.
For example, if 2day is the 13th, he would get the 14th paper today.
he would try to prevent the murders, accidents, etc.that were going to happen.
he also had a dog (if that helps)

It was called "Early Edition"..and he had a cat. The cat sat at the front door every day. Great show! Him & his partner owned a bar/restaurant downstairs. Had a couple of girls working for him.
He'd read the newspaper & find out something...& race on...to the adventure that who/what he's supposed to save. Sort of like a Superman thing. But it was a great show & I wish they'd bring it back on!!!!!

Early Edition starred Kyle Chandler, and ran from 1996 to 2000 on CBS. No DVDs have been released, but reruns are being aired... in Estonia.

Early Edition, I don't know what the stars name was but isn't he the same guy who had a 1 episode role on Greys Anatomy (he was the bomb squad guy who got blown up after saving Meridith Grey. He was back briefly in the last episode.

Im sure it was be4 my time wen this came out but i swear i just seen a show like that or it was that show. I can't remember which station it was on but i think it still might be on. Or maybe its a remake of the show
