It is safe as long as your child isn't allergic to apples. Just because it is unfiltered, doesn't mean that it hasn't been cooked to kill bacteria.
I always cut juice with 50% water, simply because of the high sugar content in the juice. Remember, any time that you process anything, you've altered it's intended form and it will cause some type of effect to occur. I found that the effect of apple, orange or any other juice on my daughters, was that it made them really hyper because of the high sugar content. Whether the sugar is naturally occurring or not, sugar is sugar and it requires burning by the body, hence hyperactivity and tooth decay.
You might want to stick with water. Juice isn't really that healthy of an alternative. If you want your 11 month old to have a treat, give the child an apple, it's good for the digestion and the sugar molecules are attached to fiber for slower absorption! Good luck, hope this helps you.

It depends on if they are allergic to anything. there are also a lot of minerals in unfiltered apple juice that are great for babies but to be on the safe side you should water down the regular motts apple juice.
