Hendrix and Joplin were indeed an item. I'm a big Joplin fan so I've read up on her alot. I have some pics of the kissing and hugging for a photo shoot.

I'm sure they were friends, but Pigpen was more her type except he only drank liquor and shunned the drug stuff (not that it did him any good either)
