You can never go wrong with black slacks, button top and clean shoes. It always looks professional.

I have conducted a few interviews, sat in and contributed to a number of others and I have been interviewed several times myself.

My best advice is to follow Dani Chic advice. The only caution I would offer is to spell casual "CASUAL" not "SLOPPY". I.E. wear clothes that fit. Nothing baggy and nothing that looks sprayed on. If you have a little bit of a belly some sort of help like control top panties or the like might help. Sit up straight, pay attention, make eye contact, stay on point and I always liked to see a bit of enthusiasm in an applicant. Not a bunch of giggling but a genuine excitement for a new job with new challenges and opportunities.

Good luck, now go knock 'em dead.

Take a look at Albertson's dress code for its employees. In my local store they wear khaki pants and a store issued shirt. Not saying borrow one of their shirts but, I wouldnt go in wearing a suit.... no one wears a suit that working there. This will also tell your soon to be employer that you have done a little research. You're right on the skirt! Good Luck

This is an interview, so you shouldnt go too casual. A pair of dressy slacks, heels or nice shoes, and a nice top would be perfect.
