This guy used to come over everyday. He is actually a best friend to both of us. He told me he was in love with me and tried getting a little fresh. I was shocked and just kinda laughed it off. Now he no longer comes aound me much anymore, but still hangs out with my husband. I haven't told anyone and am not planning on it. What gives? I mean I still care about him as a friend why is he avoiding me now?

When you get a chance, tell him it's a forgotten issue, and it will go no farther, you'll put his mind to rest, and you'll probably be good friends again.

If he tried putting the moves on as you say, he's NOT your husband's best friend. No real man would ever do that to one of his friends. "Bros before hos", right? Quite possible what he says is true - that he's really fond of you. That would explain why he isn't around as much anymore. He is probably both embarassed that he actually told you how he felt and tried to act on it, and he probably also doesn't feel as comfortable in your home as he once did.

No loss. Your husband doesn't need friends like that.

I think he realizes he was wrong for hitting on you,and he might still have feeling for you,and being a good friend he's avoiding the issues here, you might need to sit down with him and extinguish the guilt he has for the incident, and you can set the boundaries for the future.

He's probably a little embarrassed. How would you feel if you finally confessed something like that and they laughed at you. I'm not saying you did anything wrong but maybe he feels a bit foolish or uncomfortable around you.

that's sorta like a scheme... if you tell your husband about what he said, he'll just come out clean and even deny hanging out with you... just ignore the guy and when tries to hit on you again, tell your husband right away so he wont have excuses and thats better to have him caught red-handed.. its also good if your husband believes and trust you, you can tell it to him right away so he will try to do something about it.. its such a pity why these guys let themselves fall in love with their bestfriend's wife... they should know to keep their distance and wives should know that too...

He's not yours or your husbands best friend, friends don't hit on their friends wives, hello let him go you are asking for trouble if you still want to hang out with him. you owe it to your husband to tell him what happened, otherwise this will cause trouble later, tell your husband...

He is probably embarrased and feel stupid. Maybe he regrets what he did. Just let time pass and things will hopefully get better. Good luck

Because he probably was being sincere about the way he felt about you! & to avoid any akward situations, he's keeping his distance from you.

Tell him you will overlook it and still want him to be friends with both you and your husband. That is a very high-class way of handling this, by the way. You should be proud.
