how often do you go though a tube of mascara? what you favorite? do you use different kinds for different occations? how do you apply it?

It usually takes about 3 months to go through a tube, it usually dries out before I get to use it all. This happens with all brands and there is no way to extend the life of it. My favourite is Sky High Curves my Maybelline. I have literally tried EVERY brand and this is my fave. It is really wet when it is first opened so I let it sit for a couple minutes to dry out a bit before applying. I use the same kind just varying layers of it depending on the occasion. If you don't share mascara you don't need to worry about bacteria in it- since the bacteria is yours and you are used to it.
The best way to apply mascara is to start at the base of you lashes and wiggle the wand out toward the tip of your lashes. Wait for it to dry and then if you want a thicker look, apply another coat to get the desired thickness. If you want your eyes to look more opened, try curling your lashes. My fave eyelash curler is by tweezerman. Have fun!

I think the shelf life of mascara once you open it is like 6 months. Its an easy give away when the wand begins to get clumpy. My favorites are "Dior Show" by Dior and "Big Tease" by Bare Essentials. The Dior mascara has a fat brush giving your lashes nice body and no clumping...they almost look fake! The Bare Minerals mascara is great of you are just starting out, it has to sides to the wand...one short for body and one thin and longer for length. My sis likes it because she feels with the shorter side she has more control. Bare minerals also offers a glitter mascara you put over the regular mascara and its really cute and makes your lashes sparkle, its really great for going out! When I put my mascara on, I just start from the root and go out while blinking. Make sure you take your mascara off every day, if you don't you will be prone to infection like a nasty sty! I use 4-5 diff tubes at a time It's recommended that you throw out an opened tube in 3 months.

My fav is cover girls' lash exact! I use it for day wear. For a dramatic effect at night, I first apply maybelline's great lash, then layer with CG lash exact. The key is to buy a nice metal eye lash comb.

Clinique High Definition Lashes works GREAT. But it is 13.50 dollars. It last a while to. It has like a 2 sided brush too. Hold up your upperlid close to your eyebrow and try to get to the roots of your eyelash for a nice smooth look. And try using an eyelash brush to smooth it more. But with this mascara you proably won't need to, cuz it works so good, and is no clumps either.

It's best to throw your masscara out after a month of usage. Keeping it any longer leads to irritation and clumping. I love my Revlon Fabulash in blackened brown, and usually, it lasts a bit longer. I apply it on the undersides of my lashes (near the eyeball), slowly rolling out to the tips (away from the eyeball.) Then I put my pointer finger or a tissue on the undersides of my lashes and blink my eyes over it to dab away excess masscara that might smudge later in the day. I use the same color for all occasions, because blackened brown looks natural in almost any light. Hope this helped!

I don't wear Mascara. I just eat it. I go thru a tube about once a week. My favorite flavor is vanilla-coconut-creme, by Loreal.
I use chocolate-cherry when I'm really happy. I apply it orally.

you're supposed to throw it away like every 6 months or so. lol I sure don't. Mine usually lasts like 9 months. I like Diorshow. It makes my lashes super long and thick. Took me forever to find one I love. It has a curling brush. I stick the wand at the bottom and push the brush shortly side to side while turning the brush and I pay attention at the outer corners w/the tip of the wand. go to the dior counter and try it. You've got nothing to lose.

Edit: If you use cheaper stuff like cover girl it dries out super quick or makes your eyes burn in no time.

i <3 the MAX FACTOR mascara, it is best if you get mascara
from zeporara because they have the best suff there, and if you buy chep mascara it won't work very good. i use my mascara
everyday, i heart eye lashes!!!!
