My friend keeps eating dove deodorants,powders and chalk because of the talc I guess, I tell her to stop ive heard of the dangers of cancer associated with talc can you please tell me more details and what else i could say.

This can be extremely dangerous. Talk to her parents or your counselor at school. She can poison herself badly. There is a disorder called pica which makes people crave strange things and there is treatment. In this case it is best not to keep quiet, you can save here from herself.

I have heard of people who have vitamin deficiencies doing stuff like this. You might try to get you friend to take a multivitamin. But seriously I think this friend needs to see a DOCTOR right away. I am sure that there are things in those products that are really not healthy

Have in intervention. Bring a lot of people together that are concerned and tell her how bad it is for her health and that yo u want to try and help her no matter what. she might understand and try to help herself too!
