I wouldn't have him. But if I did inherit your team, I would trade him for Glavine. Tommy is usually good for the first half of the year. The Rocket won't pitch until June/July and if you hold on to him you may eat up valuable bench space for a useable player. Clemens may play well but if your team suffers because you are waiting on a pitcher to make 15 starts then it's not worth it.

Clemens will come back. The question is when. It depends on what other keeper options you have. I would rather keep a good hitter, who plays everyday versus a starter that might sit out the first half of the season and then only pitch once every five days. See if you can trade him for something good. Good luck.

once you need to make certain now; Clemens is uncertain and would in trouble-free terms play 0.5 a season if in any respect. bypass with Johnson and Cordero. Saito will be on waivers later on if he receives warm. Holliday got here on properly very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days yet Abreu is a stud. If no longer some thing else he will deliver more beneficial in a commerce down the line.

I think you have to keep him. It's Roger Clemens. He's worth taking the chance, and besides there is nobody on the free agents that would be even worth picking up for him. Especially this early. I really doubt Clemens would suck this year if he did play. He's one of the greatest to ever play the game, so if you have him, KEEP HIM!

He will play this year, the question is where. I wouldn't draft him high in a draft, but if I did end up with him, I wouldn't drop him. However, if I was offered a decent trade like Glavine, I'd make the trade.

You need to remember no matter what team he plays for,it will be a good winning team.Teams like Boston,New York Mets and Yankees and Houston. He will be in a uniquie position to win even if he pitches fair because of team he will play for.Clemens doesnt need a strong offense to win though. If you want to drop him go ahead but its not worth replacing him with a 10 win 4 plus era pitcher.
