Like when I watch some videos, they take some time to load. I think its the RAM, the laptop only has 504 MB of it. Should I upgrade to 1 GB?

btw, I barely bought this notebook in December.

if its new and came with 512 ram card, ti sounds like you MAY need a better video card. you may be able to increase video memory in your bios settings. if that doesent work, lower your resolution and change it to 16 bits... also, you might need a newer processor. pentium 3 doesent run to slowly for simple applications such as messenger and microsoft office.

although id suggest upgrading if you plan to do more.

good luck!

There really no upgrades to make Your computer So don't go over the Internet lookin for program ..they will just put virus and spy ware on your computer ..

This is what u can do

1.Go to a local computer and get more "memory" Then get a technician to install the hardware

2.Go to Start> Control Panel> performance and maintenance> the go to "free up space on your hard drive"> The let it go through the first step which checks every usefull junk on your computer> when that's done check everything in the box> let that go through and your good!

yes ram would be a likely cause, but if you have a cheap Pentium processor it might also be causing some lag.

It would be a good idea to free up some of your resources before just buying more ram, close down and turn off unnecessary programs that are running in your back ground. the icons you have by your clock if you have more than 8, I would consider figuring out what they do and closing the unnecessary ones. Running a spyware and virus check and defragmenting your hard drive, would likely help also if you don't do that regularly.

well 512mb of ram shouldnt be running to slow just to watch videos so maybe try updating your software like your flashplayer (www.adobe.com) and go to microsoft.com and check for new updates and see if that solves the problem so first try and update your computer mainly your flashplayer and if that still doesnt help then yea you should try upgrading to a 1gb ram chip
