Just tell your doctor they will help reassure you and run some basic tests. I'm sure your body is just preparing itself for labor, not today but your body does build up mussels and braxton hix before birth

labour pains (contractions) happen frequently, they start and stop. its when they start getting close together is when you should really be at the hospital. braxton hicks are like practice contractions but they shouldnt really hurt as such, just a little uncomfortable, also you should of been getting these for a while now so you should be able to tell the difference.it could even be the baby engaging into your pelvis preparing for birth, this can feel quite uncomfortable if you have a small pelvis (it did with me). i think you should see someone if you are worried and good luck.

my wife is 40wks on thursday and has been in slow labour for nealry 2 weeks now like you she is vdery uncomfortable and desperate for our son to be born. I would suggest that you see your doctor or midwife. My wife has been having check ups twice weekly now. The likelyhood is that this is just your body preparing for labour naturally. Have a warm bath to try and help your discomfort, keeping mobile can also help, my wife find thats swaying gently side to side eases the pressure of her pelvis. Also sit on a birthing ball if you have one. If you have any bleeding etc then seek medical attention asap. good luck

Dont worry....your body is getting itself ready for birth. You could go another 2 weeks but i would ask the midwife about these pains...watch them and read them....when the pain comes.....is it at certain times?....how long do they last.? But you must relax, as this is your first baby, you will be feeling all sorts of emotions. Rest as much as possible....cus your baby will be coming into Our World very shortly....and you'll be a mum full of all this love for your baby. Good luck and take care.

you're having a classic being pregnant, even though if the discomfort turns into acute, and via that I advise severe, or you have dizziness i'd bypass to casualty, i ask your self, do you sense a wierd sensation down below ??? With my women earlier labour i'd desire to sense them pass their head while it grow to be engaged, it relatively is an illustration which you're on the threshold of labour, on the evening that I had my 1st I completly wiped clean my domicile, I even polished the cooker, it relatively is yet another sign which you're approximately to bypass into labour, i does not have any medicine, purely as many warm baths as attainable and many sleep a number of of success, that's no longer as frightening as human beings think of, Or if it grow to be i does not have had 4 of the little darlings
