The only thing that would cause your hamster to bleed is an injury or disease. Unlike what some people are suggesting, hamsters do not have a bloody heat the way dogs do. Nor do they menstrate the way humans do. If you are noticing blood, you need to determine where on the hamster it is coming from. Hopefully, it is from a wound somewhere as opposed to coming out of any of the body's opening. Blood coming from a bodily opening would indicate a serious internal problem.

First I want to say I hope you haven't been doing anything to your poor hamster to make it bleed. Secondly, that is an odd question. They are a mammal, and are warm-blooded creatures. They would bleed for the very same reason you would; because they have an injury or wound that would cause them to bleed. Still, I am a bit confused at the brevity of your question and the possibilities it opens up in my mind as I write this.

If you are talking about what I think you are, I would say that your hamster is in heat. Many mammals bleed when they are in heat, or ready to mate.
Is this where the blood is coming from? You weren't very specific...
