If it helps....
Small amounts of bright red, fresh looking blood not mixed with the feces mean it's from the rectum itself or maybe the colon, but not very deep inside you in any case. The cause of this isn't necessarily serious, and if it's from the hole itself just from the skin cracking when the poo comes out, it's pretty much harmless.
If it's deep red blood, as in it looks clotty, like it's been out of the blood stream for a while, then it's from deeper in your digestive system and is something you should seriously see a doctor about soon.
Also, if you're constipated try taking a fiber supplement like Metamucil. A small amount taken regularly should help.

Whether it feels weird or not, frequent constipation is something you need to talk to your doctor about. It doesn't sound like the stool itself is bloody though, which is good. It may be that diet changes or fiber supplements could help. Do talk with your doctor. That's why we have doctors.

Your constipation may be causing hemorrhoids. You could try using a stool softener, making sure you get plenty of fiber ( use a supplement if you have to) and drinking plenty of water and juice ( but mostly water ). First and foremost, as much as I know you don't want to, you really need to see a doctor, because you may have a medical problem that needs to be addressed.

Don't be shy about seeing a doctor, they deal with that stuff all the time. Try takig citricel and drinking lots of water. You need more fiber. The blood too much blood could be alarming if it's not hemroids. Try more fiber, citricel, and lots of water. If this does not work see a doc. good luck

You probably just have a small case of "hemorrhoids." All that pushing you do probably just inflames them and they bleed. There are very small blood vessels "down there" and sometimes they bleed with too much pushing. As long as the blood is bright red and it stops, there is nothing to worry about. Drink more water, and eat more fiber. I know people think fiber is only for old people but it is a great thing for all ages. Good Luck!!

Blood in your stool is something that should be taken very seriously. It can be a sign of something dangerous or even life threatening going on.
Doctors deal with this all the time....It is better to have it checked out then to regret it. My dad had it one time and he went to the doctor and found out it was a colon polyp that had he waited, would have turned it to cancer.

A bloody stool can be a sign of a very serious health problem. You definitely need to talk to your doctor about this right away. Don't feel uncomfortable; that's what he's there for.
