Maths is an interesting subject for some but for many its quite tough. Your experiences with Maths and how did you cope with it in the school. How many of you were happy to drop Maths at graduation level?

I like Maths. I was scared of it in school from the exam point of view. A small mistake would get you a wrong answer and you would lose marks. But I always liked it as solving problems were a challenge to me. the different methods to solve it was amazing. I think at foundation level if it was made interesting most students would like it. If a person hated Maths in school and cannot help his own child with Maths, then the child probably develops a fear for the subject. For people who love Maths as a subject but don't have the patience to teach it, they should avoid being a teacher as it would not help the student to develop a liking towards it.

maths is a good subject. i love solving out maths questions.

In the primary & secondary classes I was afraid of it but now when I'm doing MBA I don't find it too difficult. I don't know why but I think earlier it might be due to my improper & poor understanding of basic rules or might be due to improper guidance provided to me.

maths is an interesting subject, if we take interest we can catch it, but if we avoid it, it looks dangerous.
