Abuse of child labour is not only a problem of India. It 's the problem of most developing countries which they are called third- world. In many countries, children have to work in risky places. Not for them but for adult and their family as well. Certainly, local government know everything about that. They, however, can not do anything to stop the circumstance.
Abuse child labour can destroy next generations. That's really a disaster of most countries. However, you can imagine what happens a day without child labour. Many people would be death.

It's hard, but you have to think about the families who let their children do that. As long as the children have an education upon which to base their lives, it shouldn't matter. Think about the poverty all across the world, especially India and other populous places. The parents might not be able to scrounge enough money on their own so they use all hands, legs, arms, etc. in the family to help. Either way, like I said earlier, as long as they get an education and have enough time to finish their homework, they should be okay unless they are getting injured. The kids should only be in tame jobs anyway like working at bookstores and with tailors. Not in factories or doing work like that. THAT must be stopped if it is occurring.

.It has no easy answer. As long as poverty is not tackled it will be difficult to end child labour. Is it better to allow them to work and get fed or ban child labour and let them die of hunger? First thing the Govt. should do is to ensure that children are not employed in hazardous industries and then look for other means to end it.

The Indian government needs to pass the same types of labor laws that we have in America and Europe. I read on here all the time about how well India is doing... they're not a third world country.

"Charity begins at home" Start from little things like-
-* Dont allow your domestic maid to put her child to work to makeup for her absence or
-* Dont take newspaper/milk packets from the agencies which employs children depriving them of going to school or
-* Dont buy fire crackers from the companies which employs children for cheap labour or
-* Make sure your tailor/designer doesnt get the embroidery on your clothes done by young children..... and so on....
When there is no demand for child (cheap) labour, there would be no supply

We can not kishore labour in India.
I was working when I was kishore.
It is not bad.
Easy work should be given to child. Child should must be given time to read, play, relax. Only part time jobs should be given to child. Full time jobs shouldl not be given to children.
