Hmmm... that's unusual. Are you using Safari? Go up to the View > Make Text Bigger menu command, or the Command (Apple) key, plus the Plus (+) keyboard shortcut. I hope that this works for you.

Check your settings in System Preferences > Universal Access > Mouse and Trackpad tab
