What were the circumstances?

Its been 1 month so far but we've got a while to go... he's in Iraq!!! We did go almost two straight months when he was in bootcamp!! But this time is much harder!!!

I think it was about 7 or 9 months. We were separated and not seeing anyone else. Having a lot of time apart worked great for us because we enjoyed being alone and the chemistry never faded.
I would not recommend long distance relationships or long separations unless both people are secure independant types who require a lot of alone time.

The longest I went was 6 months. I was in high school and my, well now husband was in basic training and then went to tech school. It was really hard and I missed him so much, but we made it through :)

9 months, 2 weeks & 3 days. I'm a yacht skipper & I sailed to the Caribbean for the winter season. Never again.

Four months when he went to Kuwait to work with a private company. He's not just my significant other, he is my friend, my husband and I don't want to be without him again

Only about a week and that is because he had to work out of town but he was home on the weekends.

2 months so far...He is still in ARMY basic training but when he goes to RANGER training he will be gone for super long but before that he will be deployed and gone for 6 months. GOSH, THIS SUCKS!

2 years and it was brutal- he was overseas on a contract.
i have heard longer 8 or 10 years.

For a month, as I went overseas... and he cheated on me, he got lonely and hooked up with somebody, he was just too weak... Now its over...
