All mathematics is derived from basic axioms, such as a=a for all a, a+b=b+a, etc. These are not theorems, so if evolution shouldn't be taught because it is only a scientific theory, then shouldn't it follow that no science at all should be taught, nor mathematics even?

Please note, it is NOT proven that a=a for all a.

I think you would do well to learn what a false dichotomy is.

Well you are wrong about math. Math is proven hypothesis. Math is indeed fact. There is a field call Theoretical Mathematics.

"Only science theory" is an illogical statement. Evolution has passed all it's hypothesis. Is based on facts. Is indeed consider factual by many.

What people don't want evolution taught?

I would agree, those same people that don't want you to learn evolution, probably would like it that you did not learn any science.

As you can see from the sampling of answers you have received your question stirs up strong emotions. Anytime you bring the existence of a Supreme Being into the discussion you are going to have voices from both sides. You do not have the ingredient of God or the existence or role of God in mathematics. That is why it does not stir up such controversy, except among mathematician and engineers perhaps.

"a=a for all a, a+b=b+a"

Actually, that's quite wrong. A doesn't always have to equal A. And addition order does matter. But at least, not to your 2nd grade-level knowledge of mathematics. There are multiple systems of math.

Math is very useful. Evolution is ok for people who like to read science fiction. One plus one equals two. This is a proven fact, not a theory. Evolution was denied by the very person that made it up. Charles Darwin read the Bible regularly as an older adult and he said that he thought up his theory of evolution in his early twenties when his mind was not very mature.

it's intelligent creation that should be banned from being taught.
There are no facts supporting the fact that we all came from adam and eve. More point towards evolution.
I am looking forward to the next big thing in the scientific community, which will once and for all put to rest the thought that we ALL came from two humans.

This isn't a very logical question because evolution isn't a nesscarry thing for children to learn to be successful in life. However math is a very important thing people need to know how to do math because they need to be able to make change, balance a check book and do their taxes.

It appears that you have no idea what you are talking about. So no wonder you don't believe in evolution.

Hmm. you are getting on to very slippery ground by asking that. Wait. . .isn't it legal now to teach evolution?

Anyone who believes God over Dinosaurs is an idiot.

There is scientific proof of fossils.

I think evolution should be taught.
