The traditional answer is B. If I get a raise, I will spend it on several things, which will then lead to more income to many other individuals as well.

But, D is also correct. Why have millions of people from all over the world sent money to Katrina victims, if they did not feel interconnected???

The answer is B of course, but this interdependence only exists because it benefits huge multinational companies like Walmart who have purchased it from the government with bribes.
