There are a few you can get cheep and are probably already in your pantry:
1. baking soda: use as a kitchen cleanser in your sinks and bath tub, wet the surface and sprinkle on scrub with a sponge or wash rag and rinse that's all. Place an open box in the fridge as an odor absorber.
2. vinegar: Is a versatile cleaner, it can get pet stains out of carpets, shine up your hard wood and laminate floors, clean glass windows, be used to clean walls, all by mixing it with a little water from the tap, mix in about 1/2-1 cup of vinegar in a gallon of water and sponge the mixture on the surface and dry with a dry soft cloth (blot up from carpet, use paper towels for glass.) Or you can pour a small amount in a bowl and place some place that is open but hidden for example behind a plant or behind the sofa etc and it will be an air freshener.

My fiance SWEARS by Kaboom'..... It foams up - smells great and you can use it on ANYTHING and it REALLY does work....
As for me, I am a more INDUSTRIAL kinda gal...... I prefer your good ol fashion Bleach and water in a spraybottle....... I love it. It works, it sanitizes, and I can use it on EVERYTHING but wood.
As for your wood, get another spray bottle and mix up a bottle with 1 cup of olive oil to 3 cups of water and 1/2 cup of lemon juice. *This REALLY works and IS cheap" The lemon will break down old oil deposits and grime from the previous cleaners. The oil will protect, moisturize and shine the wood........... You will be very please with the results. If you prefer to make it your own scent - then add a couple of drops of your favorite scented oil (mine is Juniper) and you will have your very own CHEAP wood cleaner that has been custom scented to YOU...........
Hope I helped.
P.S> If you are talking tiles (as in tile floors) I DO use my Clorox to clean them, but when I want them to be GLOSSY with NO streaks, I use Tilex....... I ONLY use the tilex on my floors for shine and it is AMAZING and really not expensive... Maybe $3 or so. Give that a try if you need to gleam up some tile flooring.
Good Luck Girl -

I prefer not to use chemical cleaners or bleaches, as our bodies take in all of the toxins from them. So I use Oxy'Clean which is natural, and I use that to clean the bath tub and sinks or I use 1/2 cup of white vinegar in a gal. of warm water. I also use the vinegar salution on my tile floors, and it makes them all clean and shiny, you can also put 1 cup of white vinegar in your rinse cycle for your laundry and you would not have to use the liquid or dryer sheets to have soft and clean and static free laundry.
White Vinegar is also very cheap. You can also use OxyClean in your laundry and use less detergents or no detergent. We have to go back to the natural products to keep our bodies healthy.
