I THINK ARNOLD SHOULD GO BACK TO THE GYM

2007-02-18 18:00:51 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 1

No. Schwarzenegger is nominally a Republican, although a liberal Republican.

Lieberman, except for his support of the President's War on Terror, is pretty much a stalwart liberal, and has always voted very liberally. The vehement actions of the primary voters to undermine him simply for his support of the war was a surprising showing of the underlying orthodoxy of the left.

But it was a foolish showing to have forced Lieberman to run as an independent.

Politicians are sometimes misplaced just like a Republican with liberal views and a Democrat with conservative ideas just like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Loe Lieberman, respectively. They should have switched parties to aligned their issues with the right party.

i do no longer care approximately Arnold, yet i think of Lieberman ought to grow to be a Republican. Then the Republicans would be waiting to regulate the Senate and sluggish the craziness of the Democrats. i choose Congress to assist preserve us, no longer the terrorists, that's exactly what they're doing now.

No on both counts. Overall, Schwarzenegger views skew more conservative and Lieberman's views skew more to the left.

That's really a good question - but I think it would only further widen the gap and division we seem to be experiencing lately.

I think it's good to have a few conservative democrats and liberal republicans around just to add a little variety to the mix.

It must sure confuse the hell out of the "straight ticket" voters....

Schwarzenegger is not intelligent enough or qualified enough to be a Democrat. Hey --- we have standards.
