A closed, locked door will solve this problem.

I think all adolescent boys go through a similar phase somewhere between 11 and 14. I used to babysit a boy who, at about 11, used to look at the ladies' underwear in the Sears catalog, and I grew up with two younger brothers who used to do the same thing (peek while changing, giggle over my underthings in the laundry, etc.). One of my brothers even charged his friends each a dollar to be able to go through my underwear drawer! (Had I known at the time, I would've put a stop to it, but that's a different story....)

Bottom line, it's puberty and all those hormones kicking in, and they can make a boy mighty curious. But, just because it's normal, doesn't mean it's appropriate. The next time you notice him doing it, you can say to him that you would appreciate some privacy while you are changing, but if he has questions about the female body, you would be happy to answer them for him as soon as you are done changing. Then keep your word. Also, you might want to get the "What's Happening to My Body Book For Boys" and give it to him. It answers a lot of common questions boys have about their changing bodies and feelings, including some about girls/women's bodies, too, and is written in plain, easy-to-understand language.

Knowing he got caught peeking should be sufficient embarrassment to keep him from trying it again with you, and more importantly, from trying it with someone else (like a neighbor!), and the book should answer a lot of questions he has but maybe was too shy to ask (or maybe he can't even frame them into words right now!). Above all, be gentle with his feelings, open to discussing any question he has, but firm about what is appropriate behavior and what is not. I wish you luck - hope this helps.

Not acceptable, talk to him and tell him that.
If you make it a point to catch him one time and scream a little, I bet it will stop.
Don't try to get him to tell you why he peeks, thats a no win question,

He's curious.
You should talk to him, but not embarrass him.
If you notice him, call out his name and pretend you don't see him.
Or close the door and say excuse me. Explain that everyone needs privacy.

NOT normal. Confront your son gently about it. You must get it stopped without embarrassing him.
