1) avoid major amounts of sugar - you will crash;
2) drink water in between any caffeine that you do drink. *giggling* it's hard to sleep when you have to pee. 3) eye drops- If you have it use it-its amazing how tired dry eyes can make you feel worse than what you actually are.4) Find some music to play in the background. Music is always a great motivator. 5) Focus on what you need to get done. The computer, the messenger, your friends will all be there when you finish. 6) Most of all NO TV, NO telephone text messaging (too distracting).

Honey, that won't take you more than three hours, if that. Just turn off instant messenger and focus on what you're doing. I've done a 15 page extremely technical linguistics paper in about 5 hours before, no problem. Good luck!

I'd probably advise against over-caffienating yourself. The higher you get, the harder you fall. I personally would suggest your favorite tunes that keep your energy up, and then taking periodic breaks to get up, walk around, clear your head, do some jumping jacks, whatever. About every 20 minutes or so should keep things on an even keel.

I work 3rd shift permanently. 1: avoid major amounts of sugar
(sugar crash) this means non diet pop too! 2: caffiene a pot of coffee maybe. any more than than a few cups probably won't make any additional improvement. 3: drink water in between the coffee. It seems to intensify the effect for me 4: eyedrops. its amazing how tired dry eyes can make you feel! and next time try not to procrastinate! a fellow single parent

drink lots of water, enjoy, be calm.
Just have fun as long as you got your fav. tunes backing it up.
