You just have to accept what each day brings, and continue to do the best you can everyday even if that means doing the same things everyday, because even though you may be doing the same thing everyday ,there is always something different about each day.

I like the first answer.
My answer is that I don't. The only problem with my answer is that I had to figure out how to survive.
I don't have a husband so I can let the house and myself go. I can cook or not. My business runs on an annual cycle so I am always doing something different with it.
I did have to do the same thing day in and day out for maybe one year and it was tough.

Try to find something to make it a challenge or to somehow tweak it a different way, so that it doesn't get so boring. If it's a job, try seeing what it would take to go higher in the field of work. Get creative or make a suggestion at work as to how to change it to make it interesting. I've worked at alot of jobs that it was the same thing everyday. I usually tried to make things different and it worked for a while, but usually I just ended up changing jobs just to get away from it.

Learn the art of Bhakti( devotional service of the Lord) no matter what ones religion) Just believing is only the first step on the path to God realization. One has to go deeper into our eternal occupational duty (sanatan dharma) to really go deep into our relationship with our maker. Also known as Krishna, Jehovah, Allah, Vishnu, etc. Read The Bhagavad Gita as it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada if you want to know deeply who you are and how to enjoy all your activities even if they seem repetitious being each step, word, thought and action is done as an offering to God, and in this way one becomes enlivened in even the most simple activities. I love it.

I have severe depression and am a stay-at-home-mom.
I try to keep my mind occupied when I clean by singing songs to myself in my head, play word games to myself or outloud,or even make a game out of what I have to do, like on Mary Poppins.
This also keeps my depression at bay, and gives my brain a good workout.
And before you say this isn't the only thing to do when having depressive issues, let me say YES I DO go talk to someone, weekly .

Take a daydream trip. I just turn off the T.V. and block out the noise. I go where ever I want to go. I relax in a warm tub of water and daydream away. I'll eat out sometimes at a different restaurant than I would normally go to.

Honey has it right. The meds help. Mine is the all mighty buck and the satisfaction of a job well done. Also the faster I work the more day I have for me. That about does it.

Going to assume this is job related....Even a mindless job can be fun - choose to make it fun by making that job about - someone ealse. Make their day, smile, reach out....
Now - if you are honestly unhappy, consider how you will change your career. In our real world, we know this cannot happen over-night.
Be good to yourself.
