for the record, sloppy joe.... you are very un-informed. and I'd even go as far to say that you drive a car that makes up for your personal inadequacies. the Chevrolet Camaro is one of the finest examples of a pure sport car that has ever driven down the tarmac. if the Chevy Camaro was the Chariot of mullets and the queens of the trailer park, then please explain to me why they command so much in the collector car market? at auto auctions, such as Barret Jackson, Camaros of all kinds sell in the range of 10,000 to 90,000. the Chevy Camaro also has a world class racing heritage, it has raced at Le mans, Sebring, laguna Seca, the Nurburgring, the 24 hours at Daytona, among other races. oh lets not forget the fact that the Camaro is an integral part of automotive history..... jackass

anyway to answer the question at hand. the 93-98 Camaro is an excellent car, provided that it is maintained. the engine choices for these cars range from the 3.4 V6 up to the 5.7 V8. they also featured a great transmission that was developed in a partnership between Chevrolet, and Borg Warner. they make excellent corner carvers, as well as drag racing cars. with the older cars, 93-95 model year, you have to be very careful with the wiring harness if you plan to upgrade your ignition. the rubber gasket that's in the wiring port through the firewall has a tendency to get gummy, or completely dry rot. that could cause problems with frayed wires, or shorting out the wiring system completely.

my recommendation as far as performance upgrades would be:
a digital h.e.i. ignition, porting and polishing the heads, a free flowing exhaust system, cross drilled and slotted brake rotors, a tighter suspension, and it couldn't hurt to have a cold air intake, with a new mass air flow sensor.

these mods can work with both the V6 and V8 versions.

besides, i think its grand that you have got one. screw what others say, you my friend are a true automotive enthusiast. you know that a car like a Camaro can embody the spirit of the open road. good luck with your ride

SS, confident there's a sprint harm yet get it inspect regardless. Plus do no longer pay attention to guy asserting Honda will blow it away. A civic won't in any respect seem as solid as a camaro plus it take alot of money to get a civic rapid as a SS. Plus they have extra advantageous resell fee. yet is the SS LS1?

My son has a 94 and hates it, I tell him to drive it to me and I will fix it. I had 2 F-bodys from the 70's, they were rattle boxes. The only Camaro I would ever buy would be a 1969.

The camaro is the chariot of the trailer-park-people. Under no circumstances should anyone, who's house doesn't have its own wheels, purchase one.
