Knowing the true Lord who made you..He know's you the most. He knows your heart, your weaknesses, your true desires, and loves you no matter what you do. Being loved by Him and loving him will give you purpose. And this purpose to live I think is more satisfying than any other type of desire. He wants what is best for you, even though you may not always be able to see it. Look up to Him and He will make your paths straight. That's His promise.

I believe in order for a person to live a satisfying life, he/she must do whatever it is that they find satisfying. Go out for that job that you find exciting & make it your career while making the money you long for, move to that neighborhood that you find is a great stable & living environment, plan fun recreational activities every few months, find your soul mate or someone close to that, seek and enlighten yourself with personal & spiritual growth, stay physically fit with your fitness routines, and finally have the right family and friends around you who encourage you on a positive tip.

Know when "enough is enough" when it comes to the pursuance of material things.

Don't put unnecessarily high expectations on yourself, unless you really enjoy just being "driven" 24-7.

Learn the satisfaction involved in charity.

knight2001us said to take big bites. I totally agree with that, but I can also testify that you can get "too much" of any good thing. I like prime rib, but I can't imagine a steady diet of it. I like sex, but you gotta take a break now and then. I like a good buzz, but you can only maintain that for so long.

Be happy with yourself and your body.

Follow the pleasure/pain principle. When making any choice, make it based on anything that gives you long term pleasure. When choosing anything, consider: one week from now will the choice I make today still feel good and that I did the right thing, and you will never go wrong. You will never have a regret.
