My boyfriend was charged with this crime. He took the money for the meth but afterwards decided he did not want to go thru with it. He never had the meth on him. The other guy was to call the next day so he could give the money back but he never did. On feb 14, 2007 a warrant was served from November 22, 2006.

1st. Your scumbag boyfriend belongs in prison.
2nd. He took money in exchange for drugs. Once he took the money, he committed a crime.
3rd. If he gets a good lawyer he can probably plead it out and avoid getting raped in the @ss in federal prison.
Get a new man. And get off Meth. Its probably the worst drug ever, even worse than crack.

Wow..you're an idiot. Let me splain to you Lucy. It is because your boyfriend is lying to you about the whole incident..he is not telling you the whole truth.
Just tell him you're going to stand by his side and go with him to every court hearing and meet with his attorney as well. During discovery you will get to read the police report and see the evidence the state has.
Then you can decide if your bf is telling you the whole truth or not.

I guarantee that there is more to the story than what is here.
Possession, maybe not, but he could be charged with and convicted of the sale (or attempted sale, or conspiracy to sell) even if he never had it on him.

unfortunately he did agree to make the deal so he entered the conspiracy with intent.even though he did not follow through he still made the error of an attempt.
