I have known him for about 1/2 year and i am totally gaga over him. He is sweet, nice, smart, creative, the list could go on and on. When i sat by him in class, we quickly became friends. he starting to flirt with me and i with him. One day he came to class upset. like a friend I asked him what was wrong... he said his dad moved to indiana and he, his bro and his mom were moving as soon as school was out. I was so sad and i still am. We moved sits and stopped flirting as much. we are still friends tho. I am in LOVE with him. He is moving and i have no idea what to do. Should i keep my feelings inside? should i ask him out? should i tell him how i feel?(if so when tho)? should i ask him to a dance? help me plz!!!

I am sorry to hear that your friend is moving away. I do not know how far(in miles)apart you will be. I have to be honest, long distance relationships are very difficult, for all of the obvious reasons. I am sure he moved his seat away from you, and avoids you, because he is trying to make the separation(the move) easier for when he has to leave. It is a mechanism that people sometimes use, to protect themselves from being hurt. your friend feels that if he doesn't interact with you anymore, he will be less hurt when the time comes for him and his family to leave. Don't let him go, without asking if he would like to stay in touch? You could call, text, e-mail, and stay friends that way. If you feel that you would like to ask him out, you might be more hurt,if you date, before he moves, or if he declines, your friendship will suffer. Follow your instincts!

long distance relationships are ****, believe me i've been through one. I do think you should definately tell him how you feel. if you don't and he moves away, you'll regret it because you'll never know if he felt the same or not. If he doesn't return the feelings he's leaving anyway so it wont really akward. Besides if he's a good mate you shouldn't worry about him laughing at you or mocking you
