I have been trying almost every day for 2 years. We both are still capable of having them I just can't get pregnant. Anyone have ideas that would help?

First, I wouldn't try every day from what I understand that can lower the sperm count. I have heard stress can make it harder too, so try to relax and not put pressure on yourselves. Other than that, If I were you I would get an ovulation kit and use one of the websites, like WebMD, that help you create an ovulation calendar. You will need to know how long your cycle is, but these sites can help you with that. Good luck to you and I hope we can here some good news from you soon.

What do you mean by capable of having them? Do you mean that you both are fit parents and able to take care of one or do you mean that you both have had children prior and just cant get pregnant now? The reason why I ask is how do you know you are capable of having children if you have never been able to conceive? Dr's say if you have tried for over 1yr with normal trying to conceive, then some assistance is needed. That is either by getting some tests done to see where the problem may lay or needing some medication for help with this. I have mentioned this before, but the book Taking charge of your Fertility by Toni W. is a wonderful book and very valuable in this area. Educate yourself in your body clock such as ovulation and timing of sex, taking your temp each morning and charting your cycle to pinpoint the best days to conceive are just examples of this. Good luck and have faith.

I agree with the person who said not everyday...... it does lower sperm count and those sperm are too weak for conception....
Try waiting till you have next period...... then start the ovulation tests.... I have found that pregnancy usually occurs between 10 and 14 days after the first day of your last period.... if still nothing after a few months, and you are still wanting preg......see a doctor, there may be plumbing problems..... remember that there are also a whole lot of little ones out there with no mom or pop who could use an adoptive home.

Try the pee on a stick OV tests. They come in a box of 7 with a pg test at your local drugstore/walmart. Go on vacation, have a goood time, stop thinking about it for a couple weeks. Then get with your Dr and make sure everything works properly. Don't forget to start taking prenatals right now, while youre still trying.

My first son took 12 days to be concieved, my second just over a year. I found as soon as I stopped thinking about concieving & just started making plans (& losing weight) it finally happened.

Maybe you could just give your bodies a break stress never did anyone any good.

here is a few tips I used
- no coffee or smoking
- eat & drink folate
- lose that 10 pounds youve been trying to get rid of
- hang out with people with babies (get clucky)
- boxers no breifs
- resolve any issues with your boyf/husband

Best of luck & have fun trying

It took me over 2years to get pregnant.First of all STOP STRESSING!!!!!Make love with your partner for the fun of it not out of obligation to concieve. Then second lay off the caffeine. It is proven that stress & caffeine minimize your chances of concieving.Third if your more than 20 lbs overweight this also does not help. Finally there are many supplements that enhance libido & fertility. They sell them at vitamin shops & online.Mke sure their natural!!!I did all these things & soon after became pregnant with my 1st.
Best of luck!

Maybe if you stop trying get your mind off it eventually it would happen. You want it to be thats why its not happening. Try having a romantic night not thinking about it and it might just happen.
