I have 2 accounts on my windows home edition. Account 1 used to be the admin. account. Account 2 was limited.

I want to delete account 1 so i switched account 2 to computer admin. And i changed account 1 to "limited"

Now when i try to delete account 1 it says "a required privilege is not held by the client"

How do I delete account 1? (lol this sounds like a math problem.) Please help?

LOL Yeah, it does sound kinda math-like. When you made acct 2 admin, you should be able to use acct 2 to delete acct 1. If that doesn't work, one way to fix this is by starting up in Safe Mode and using the default Admin account (as long as either a) it has a password and you know it, or b) it's not password protected so you can directly login) and use that to do what you need to.

To delete acct 1, use acct 2 and go to User Accounts > Change an Account then select acct 1 and select Delete, then following the steps, you can save the info from acct 1 which will transfer all info into acct 2 then it will finish removing acct 1.

I think you can just disable the default account. Windows doesn't allow you to delete the base account.
