the intensity on being "in love" fades by about the 2 1/2 year mark -- it's a biochemical change. you can't keep the first biochemical high of being in love forever, but hopefully during the 2 1/2 years a couple develops trust, bonding, and deepens their love in other ways, and by going through experiences together.

No, it isn't true. I don't believe that love fades away after 1-2 years. True love is everlasting.

love fades at times, it's a reality. some fade less than two years but the reasaon isn't always because of a third party most of the time it's because one of them is loving less and the other is loving more... attitude may also be a factor, some are tooo possessive, others simply don't care... it's a case to cse basis and there are so many reasons why love simply fades.

costly celebrity, i easily sense for you and can understand what you're dealing with. you're staggering to no longer settle for this behaviour to any extent further and you will possibly desire to stop questioning staggering now questioning" what if he...". I even have seen lots of folk around me colapsing, dropping their lives simply by" waiting for somebody to alter or recognize some issues" this is not any longer your problem anymore if or whilst he will understand this.human beings not often substitute.i do no longer say human beings do no longer choose for 2nd opportunities,we are human! This guy did no longer substitute after 2 relatives with toddlers in contact,he could no longer positioned himself so as then, why might he now?He sounds like an entire imature individual. Are you keen to lose your life, waiting for some thing that maximum propably by no potential will come? i do no longer understand your age, however the longer you persist with the belief of this guy,the fewer opportunities you will get to detect a real loving guy with whom you will possibly start up a kinfolk on your very own! do no longer waist your life to any extent further,i've got self belief 6 years is long adequate! Take care, Alex( mom of two, separated from husband after 17 years of psychological obuse)

Must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, love doesn't fade, that new car feeling fades. Thats why so many marriages don't last. Usually one of them needs a new ride again and cheats on the other. That's okay though, cause it probably wasn't love anyway, and if it's happened to you it's not your fault. I say that because if you marriage is getting old and boring it's your fault. So if it's gettin old, or you miss that new car feelin, don't run out and cheat. Get off your *** and put the spark back in it. It's only old and boring because you are making it that way.

Infatuation fades; love does not. The problem is that some people can't tell the difference.

My fiance & I are living proof it doesn't exist... to some people.
We celebrated our 2 year anniversary last month and we are still in love with each like we were from the beginning.

It grows for me. It is hard work but you reap what you sow.

You know how people say the grass is always greener on the other side?
Well my answer to that is it is only greener where you water it. That is what makes a relationship work
