My sister wants to name her children Maugerite, and Spencer.
How can I convince her to name the something else, and any suggestions.
(I personally love Dylan as a boy name)

My boyfriends name is Dylan Spencer Smith, but I personally love the name Spencer, but just not Maurgerite. She says since I am her closest sister, she is going to consider my opinion with her girl ,but is abosolutely going to name her son Spencer.

Spencer is cute. Margerite isn't really my style but it is still a beautiful classic name. The benefit of the name is the amount of nicknames she can choose if she doesn't want to go by Margarite.

Some nicknames are: Megan, Meg, Margo, or Maggie. If she wanted she could even use Margie, Peggy, or Peg! :)

Other options that go well with Spencer are:
Spencer and Evelyn (Evie and Eve are cute nicknames)
Spencer and Madeline*
Spencer and Caroline*
Spencer and Lydia*
Spencer and Isabella
Spencer and Grace
Spencer and Ella
Spencer and Camille
Spencer and Lillyanne
Spencer and Claire*
Spencer and Olivia
Spencer and Maya
Spencer and Meredith*
Spencer and Elisabeth
Spencer and Kirstyn
Spencer and Violet
Spencer and Analeise*
Spencer and Aubrey

Hope these help you out! I like them all but my favorite combo's have the astericks next to them. :)

Good Luck! SD

These are the names we have for the rest of our lives so make sure you remind your sister of that.

Also we are only babies & children for a small part of our lives so as Spencer dosent seem like much of a baby name it is a beautiful adults name.

All in all leave it up to your sister because what ever she chooses is what these babies will be called.

You never know maybe you will have your own little boy called Dylan one day.

I love Spencer. Maybe Spencer Dylan. But I don't like the other name at all. What about something like Mariska? Maybe Markisa McKenzie...it still has that uniqueness about it. Or Karrington, Avery, Kennedy, Addison. Good luck and congrats!

As previously stated, you can not "convince" her, only tell her your opinion of her choices, (be kind), and offer your suggestions. I also dislike the name Maugerite....but do like Spencer & Dylan.
Some of my choices would include:
Suzanne, Paige, Valerie, Iris, Malachi, Josiah, Dirk, Jared, Brock. Best wishes to you and your sister that the twins will be healthy!

Spencer Dylan is cute. I'm not so sure about Marguerite, though. It sounds a little old and may be a bit difficult for some people to pronounce because it's French. Maybe you could suggest something similar, like Mary,Marie,Maria, Mariah, Marianne, Maribeth, Marissa, Maren, Marilyn, Maggie, etc.

OR you could just let her name her daughter Marguerite, but you could call her Maggie. If i have a little girl, i want to name her Beatrix, but my mom hates that name and says she would call her Trixie and that's fine. People in my family call me Bri because they have trouble with Brianne and don't know if it's supposed to be Brianne or Brianna, so they shorten it to avoid pronouncing it wrong :p. So there's nothing wrong with giving your neice and nephew your own nicknames. Besides, shortening the names to Spence and Maggie does make them sound a little better, huh?

As some of the others have said, it is really none of your business what your sister names her children.
It is very self-centered to think that she should consider your opinion. You are assuming that everyone else will dislike Marguerite the way you do, which is clearly not the case or your sister wouldn't like it.
Your opinion is a matter of taste, your sister is not naming her children anything offensive or inappropriate, so she should go with what she and the babies' father like best.
When you have your own children, you can name them whatever you like.

Tell her that Maurgerite overshadows Spencer ( like the girl will be this princess and Spencer is there to wait on her)

...Margo and Spencer works much better.

Honestly,.. She will name the babies whatever she wants. So when Maugrite and Spencer grow up don't let them know that you wanted a diffrent names for them, Hurt feelings are all you will have by voiceing your opinion.

If there is puss popping out of the sores this does not sound like Eczema to me. My son had a rash with zit looking sores on him and it grow to be a staph an infection. Take the toddler to a different well-being practitioner and get a 2d opinion. no count number if it relatively is Eczema, attempt in basic terms giving the toddler a bath two times each week and attempt using the hot Johnson and Johnson shampoo with Shea butter. My son appeared to heal extraordinary up while we tried this.
