I first installed the desktop manager for my blackberry 7130. Then I installed the sprint phone as a modem usb connection manager. The BlackBerry desktop manager shows the connection to the phone. The Sprint USB Connection Manager just says "connect your phone" and does not change. I did everything they told me to on the phone with sprint business support.

Here is the catch. I use my Sprint PPC 6700 but I found that I do not need the desktop manager. I only need the outlook 2002 which carries the stuff for the phone.

Anyway, if you remember how they told you to set up using the internet connection on your computer. Well in the last window before you closed it, it has a box for creating a desktop icon. I did this and renamed it, Sprint Dial. Or anything you want.

Now like mine, I presume, go to where it says wireless modem, and in a window you should see USB. If not change it to this. And then press start on the phone.

Here is what I do now. I put my phone in the cradle with it hooked up to the PC with the USB. Then I click the icon SPRINT DIAL, and then press continue. Anyway, sometimes the window says not able to, then I have to disconnect the USB cord and then plug back in, then press the SPRINT DIAL icon again, wait a couple of seconds. Sometimes, it takes a couple os seconds I guess for the phone to connect. If you have any problems still just email me back and be glad to help. I learned you could connect thru the internet on your phone thru cnet. I want to check this out. What I plan to do is cancel the $40 data plan, use the internet for about 10 minutes then check to see if I get charged or not. This works only with the bluetooth. I think I might have to buy a router. Now on the updates at least to my phone it is 4.2 or 4.5 update that disables the bluetooth connection to the computer for "security reasons" if you take the time to read what they are suppose to do. Anyway, I have to wait and check the cnet.com on this connection thing.
