the back of my tv has yellow, red, and white...also red, blue, and green input slots..i used the red blue and green...and the picture was split into two sides on my tv. what do i do to use the better picture quality?

Yellow = Video, Red = Rt audio, White = Lt audio.
Th RGB are color guns in the the picture tube Red = Red , Green = Green and Blue = blue...Just match the output coors on the 360 to the inputs on the tv. Try the Y,R,W

The Standar Definition Cables (Yellow, White & All Red) are the ones you should use on your tv. The Blue, Green, & Red outputs from the 360 come out in high definitin not regular componet. Since your TV does regular Componet the 360 HD cables won't work with it.
