What does this mean???

"Echo" the thesis statement without sumply repeating it. May suggest a course of action.

I am writing an essay and i need to know what that means!

It means to restate your aim in different words. That way people will have a better idea what it is you are trying to say. Essay means "attempt". You are attempting to prove some point. to convince someone of your idea (thesis).

repeat the thesis statement or paraphrase it. the thesis statement is like where you do a brief overveiw of your essay.
