My Windows works but i am having problems with internet connections

I'm running windows XP and im having problems with internet connections. will flashing my BIOS possibly fix the problems?

Unfortunately, changing out a motherboard is a big enough change to cause serious problems with a windows installation.

If the board is similar enough, you may just need to reinstall some drivers. It also depends on what version of windows you are using... as a rule of thumb, the more recent version of windows you have, the better chance it will tolerate larger changes.

I would recommend you install the driver disk that came with your new board, and hopefully it will clear up your issues.

be informed that when you have a motherboard it will require drivers for the motherboard components......just similar to the fact that not everyone knows how to drive a plane...;)....also as you have changed the motherboard it will require new driver which can run the components of the motherboard.....please ask your computer vendor to provide you the motherboard driver CD which comes along with the motherboard.....and it will take care of the issue.......
