Combination of things...breaking marriage vows would be the main one. If you're experiencing these...seek help.You DON'T have to put up with someone that does not respect you or love you. Sometimes it DOESN'T last forever.

I refused to share my husband with another woman. That WAS the last straw in my marriage and I divorced him. I had been verbally abused and took it but even without that I would've divorced him for cheating on me. I take a lot, but that is one thing that to me is not o.k.

I'll answer with what WAS the final straw - it was the day that he decided he was gong to dictate exactly how I was going to live my next ten years. I screamed at him that day - and I don't scream.
It was a dying relationship from the day our child was born - it just took two years and that pronouncement to finally end.

It is difficult to explain but I'll try. For me, if I look through my lovers eyes and see myself as they see me and the picture ain't too pretty ie they don't see me as a nice loving person, then I believe the marriage is over. If however, when I look through their eyes I just see hurt and disappointment then I know it is something that we can work out.
