I have heard that some St. John's Wort doesn't have enough hyperforin or hypericin to be effective. Does anyone know anything about this? If so, can you reccommend the right kind to purchase?

It is important to buy herbs and vitamins from companies that are known for their proper development of the herbs. A reliable brand is Nature Made. Another place to find reliable herbs and vitamins is vitacost.com Their costs are very competitive and they are a reliable source for herbs and vitamins.

If you have doubts than buy the herb in powdered form and put it in capsules yourself. Or grow the plant and harvest it yourself. There are many suppliers of whole plant herbs. Pick one.
