Statistically you could say right now there is an asteroid or something as menacing on a collision course with earth.
It may be hundreds, thousands or millions of years from now and it may hit something else first.
You can be sure there is something aimed at us right now.

Not that we know of. But we are far more aware today than ever before that asteroids are always flying around the vicinity of the Earth and that some have hit in the past and others will hit in the future. The trick to to see one coming in advance. So far, we have some predicted to pass close to Earth but none predicted to hit. I would be surprised in one hit in the next 1,000 years. But now that we know of the danger and are looking for them with computerized telescopes, I bet we see very close passes every few years. These close passes have been happening since the Earth was formed, but we just didn't know about it before.

Yes. There is no question of that reality.
The only question is when its going to hit. Tomorrow? 1,000 years from now? 100,000 years from now?
Its a historical and statistical fact that it will happen again as it has happened multiple times over the geological history of the Earth.

you know what, i guarantee you there will be no asteroid hitting this earth, if there was one coming to hit the earth you could blow it up with a nuclear warhead or it would melt in the atmosphere
