Bush has plenary powers to deny fundamental rights to suspected terrorists by his defination. Taken as a whole, this ileagel occupation of Iraq, abuse of prisoners of war, domestic spying and the suspension of habeas corpus as well as military tribunals establishes a pattern of abuses that are a danger to the rule of law.
Given the Bush appetite for power at the expense of constitutional balance, our democracy is in danger.
I am grateful to the voters who expressed their lack of support for Mr. Bush and his war of choice.

BobG: No. I will never tire of this topic, though evidently you may. Our nation is at too great a risk with this current regime to go off message. I have a problem with corporate fascism and these are the most dangerous political circumstances I have seen to date.
