I have had Microdermabrasion and know people who have had multiple types of peels and laser treatments. I was happy with my results. The right treatment really comes down to what you are looking to improve. A combination treatment plan is often best so go to a practice that offers multiple different kinds of options so that they can taylor the regimen to your needs.

There are better chemical peels that do less structural damage. Microdermabrasion causes small cuts and tears in the upper and middle layers of the epidermis, which supposedly leads to earlier wrinkles and possible infection. Albeit temporary, I achieve awesome results with microderm. The best peel I've had, though, is Cosmedix Timeless Peel. It's a chirally balanced retinoic acid peel.

depending on how you care for your skin and how old you are you may not even need one. most people only need a good moisturizer for day and night. and drink enough water. it only helps so much what you put on your skin when you don't take care of it from the inside.microderm and chem peels are only temporary fixes if you keep doing the things that cause the problems.

I thinks it works great if you're a good canidate for it. I've had it done several times and your skin feels amazingly smooth and you have a refreshed glowing look to it. If you have sensitve skin or roscea you should avoid it.

I'm not a big fan. I didn't see results and all it did was irritate and inflame my cheeks (they're kinda dry, get flushed, possibly mild rosacea). I had better results with a chemical peel (lactic peel).
