He'll be fine no matter where he goes, as long as they fire him at the end of the season and hire someone else to win some playoff games.

It'd be nice if Tampa Bay would fire Gruden after this next season and hire Schottenheimer. San Diego was just as bad when he was hired on there 5 years ago and took them to 12-2 this season, so I'm all for it. And it's becoming more and more apparent day by day that Gruden won his Super Bowl w/ Dungy's team (and defensive coordinator). Chucky's gotta go.

I'm hoping he goes to the Bills or the Redskins because I REALLY hate those teams with a passion! But probably there is no team left in the NFL which really wants to invest millions and build one of the best teams of the decade, only to go "one and out" year after year after year after year..........

My guess is that he will accept the job of head coach with the Junior College of Eastern Montana Furry Rodents, lead them to their first ever 11-1 season and an appearance in the Generic Brand Q-Tip Bowl against the 5-6 Southern Vermont Fighting Gerbils where (as overwhelming favorites) they will be humiliated 47-5!

Just a guess.......

I think that Marty will coach for the Browns. He's a great running coach with a powerful offensive mind. Ruben Droughns is a great runner, but Romeo Crennel never put any time into him. Marty would do a great job with the Browns.

i don't think he will coach again. why should he? he knows he's good, and has one of the best regular season records ever, and there is no good vacencies and won't be for a while. he has money and won't have to scramber for terrible jobs that are dead ends. the raiders for instance.
