Oral sex makes me feel like urinating too. My husband is getting frustrated because sex with me is only in limited ways or else I would be running of to the toilet. Please help.

This is actually VERY common.

The reason is that the bladder sits just in front of the vagina.

When the bladder fills up with urine, this muscular structure expands to accomodate all the urine. When it stretches far enough, it sends a signal to your brain saying, "Hey! I am full down here - better find a toilet or I am going to explode!"

During sex, pressure on the anterior (front portion) of the vagina puts pressure on the bladder wall. The bladder doesn't know any different, but feels its walls stretching, like it is full of urine. Therefore, it sends the signal to the brain, "Hey! I am full down here..." even if it is actually not! The sensation could easily be reproduced by having your husband apply pressure with his fingers a few inches inside your vagina and rub towards the front of your body...to see if this is what is happening to you.

You do not have a "weak bladder" and unless you have other problems you didn't share, everything sounds VERY normal and OK. There is NOTHING to worry about.

As for the frustration...
1) Make sure you empty your bladder (urinate) before having sex, so then you can be confident that your bladder is not full!!!
2) Once you do empty your bladder, then you can be confident and not worry about that sensation, as if something were seriously wrong or that you might urinate during sex (and big deal if you do - your husband would understand and may even feel somewhat satisfied in his ability to get you so worked up during sex that you "lost" bladder function, etc.)
3) Finally, know that many women often report having the best sex (i.e. orgasms) when growing more comfortable to the sensation you speak of. Some may or may not actually confuse this sensation/feeling with "hitting the G-spot", or may actually be related to one and the same sensation - a debatable issue...

But if these don't work or help, and the sensation is too irritating for you, etc. then you should certainly see a physician to see if something else is going on, etc. It could be the sign of an infection, whether a UTI or STD or a non-STD! A simple urinalysis and speculum exam with a wet prep and cultures could easily rule out these things.

Hope this helps...
