I know someone who had urea formaldehyde pumped into the walls of his house to improve the insulation. The foam did improve the insulation but the state declared that houses with urea foam insulation might give off formaldehyde fumes so every real estate sale needs to have an affidavit stating whether the house has that insulation. The result was a drop in heating bills but a major drop in the value of the house when he goes to sell it (unless he spends thousands to get the foam sucked out of the walls).

I am not sure about the expanding foam insulation. I just reinsulated my home this summer. My house had the foam insulation and it just crumpled and ended up in a heap in the bottom two feet of my walls. The walls that didn't have foam insulation and had the roll insulation the roll insulation was not as puffy but it was still where it was supposed to be.

Anything you can do to save energy and thus reduce pollution will help all of Humanity. You can blow loose fluffy kind in, or you can use the foam. Any insulation is better than none.
I had that lose stuff blown into my attic, saved $500 a year in bills and reduced the amount of coal burnt at the archaic power plant.
Seas are rising, ice caps are melting, it is a reality now, face it, enjoy the ride and hang on when it gets bumpy.

i dont understand what a organization on your area would cost, yet often they eliminate slightly of siding from the aspect of your position, drill a hollow in the sheathing (whats lower than the siding) blow in the insulation, plug the hollow in the sheathing, and placed the siding again as a alternative. no portray or patching holes required on your area.
