My big clue was implantation bleeding. When it first started I thought I was having my period, since my cycles are pretty erratic. When it didn't continue, it dawned on me what was happening.
I never had major pregnancy symptoms until the last two months. I was never sick, didn't have sore breasts, any of that. 'Course, I'd eventually have figured it out, but it was that spotting that made me know what had happened.

I generally have a bit of cramping a day or two before, and then it gets pretty intense the first day - I take Advil for the cramps as soon as I feel them coming on so they don't get out of hand. Generally I get my period the next day.
But I didn't get it and kept having some mild cramps - This was strange b/c my cycle is always very much the same. I took a test when I didn't get it in another two days and the test was positive.
Now, my husband and I were not using protection b/c we were good with things if it happened, I knew it was very possible so I grabbed a test early.

the normal pms symptoms cramping bloating possibly sore breasts.....sometimes its confusing to tell if you are pregnant or getting your period they are pretty much the same symptoms in the very early stages....

it is kind of the same symptoms but with me I want to sleep all the time for the first few wks, couldn't drink or smoke it made me sick and I had to have ice chips or a icecream mrmist float from the dair queen.

sore breasts...really sore..and I NEVER had that with pms.
