I really like the changes at Cancun Palace (reopened in February 2007), my travel agent recommends Moon Palace. My husband and I are looking for an all-inclusive $2500 - $4000 in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area - Must have a GREAT beach. Prefer a resort with Casual/Casual Elegance dining dress code - no jackets/ties required for dinner please!

The Palace resorts are fabulous. My wife and I are members. We prefer to stay on the Strip Cancun, Sun and Beach Palace's and visit the others while we are there. No Jacket and Tie problems there, but they did tell me I couldn't wear a sleevless shirt for dinner unless I went to the buffet... I can live with that...

Check E-bay, no I'm not kidding, Members sometimes sell their weeks and its definatly a bargain compared to non-member pricing.

Adventura Spa (Adults Only! been there 3x). No real beach but the rest of the resort is great. For a great beach and eco-park with out the crowds of Cancun try Xpu-Ha. Wife and I are going in March. None of their resorts require jackets or ties. Some of the restaurants ask the men to wear closed toed shoes, pants and a collared shirt. The palace resorts in Cancun are nice but they are too close to each other. The resorts south of Cancun in the Riviera Maya are more secluded and much more private. I would suggest The Riviera. Go to www.palaceresorts.com for more info. Palace resorts treat you like kings. We joined the resorts membership club.
