I have heard that sometimes our bodies need time to readjust after taking the pill and no there is probably nothing wrong with you. The average amount of time that it takes for couples to conceive is 12 months. It is interesting how we believe that it will be very simple to conceive, after all people get pregnant all the time. When we attempt to conceive we learn that it is not as simple as we once thought. With all that said the best advice i can give you is to find out when you are ovulating. The best way to find out when you are ovulating is by researching the following web-sites. They are packed with useful information and provide cool color coded charts that are easy to use, and tailored to your biorhythm. Good Luck

Don't give up hope, I read on a website that couples having unprotected sex will: 25% will conceive in the first 4 months, 50% will conveive in the first 6 months, and 90% will conceive in the first year. I know a few couples it took 8-9 months to conceive, and my husband and I just started last month, so I'm using those examples as rays of hope if it doesn't happen soon. Good luck and I hope I helped!!!

I didnt have to much trouble but i was told that if you lay on the bed and put your legs in the air. Gravity helps the sperm find it's way. I did it and it worked- Give it a go. Man on top works best too. 4 months isn't a long time i would try and relax it will happen soon enough.

At only 4 months of trying - it is way too early to predict whether you are having "trouble" yet. Your body does take a cycle or two to start to regulate again...and then it is normal for it to take 6 months to a year to conceive naturally. If you hit the one year mark and things still haven't happened...then talk to the doctor about getting screened.

It took us two years to get pregnant with our first. We weren't even trying when we got pregnant with our second, though, so we average out to a year... And that's the average amount of time it takes - one year.
Start taking vitamins now, so that you're in the best health you can be, and try to relax. Stress inhibits conception.
The book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility really helped me. Good luck!
