Hey,
I need some cool peices of instrumental music that are unique from movies and games alike. It has to be "program music", and i would like it to have an upbeat tempo. I need this for a music project!

The Halo 2 theme song is awesome...I think Steve Vai plays the guitar in it...and the song "Earth City" from the Halo 2 soundtrack is great too. The Matrix movies have some cool songs, and so does Pirates of the Carribbean (it's catchy lol). The Nightmare Before Christmas also has a great soundtrack, but I'm not sure how many of the instrumental songs would be of any help to you.

I don't know the name of it but look up the Notre Dame college foot ball march and some songs they play there... which include bagpipes and other Irish instruments

"Marine" and "Power of Denial" in the American Beauty score. Good bass as well. Mesmerizing, perfect for rain but not toslow.
