They do promote "cat bags", that are really mesh bags that allow the cat's head to poke out at the same time as some thing else of the body is extremely a lot incapacitated. The water and shampoo runs through the mesh, so that you gained't have that issue. besides the undeniable fact that, being a groomer for 10 years, i have seen dissimilar diverse approaches and the single i love the most ideal is what I call the Suds Bucket. You fill a huge bucket with soapy water. Scruff the cat, and slowly decrease it into the bucket (no longer previous his neck, besides the undeniable fact that, we do not prefer to drown the poor aspect!). carry onto the scruff with one hand and initiate to lather the cat with the different. once that is done, eliminate them from the bucket (nonetheless keep him scruffed), and initiate to rinse him off with warmth water. Use a sluggish, quiet flow of water so the noise would not scare him. carry the nozzle of the water hose (that you with any success have set up for this interest!) as close the the floor as plausible and rinse thoroughly. in case you do not have an effective nozzled hose for this, have yet another sparkling bucket finished of warm temperature water on-hand, and scoop out water to slowly pour over the cat with a measuring cup (or some thing similar) till rinsed. Afterwards, towel dry your cat as maximum ideal as you are able to, then enable him air dry some thing else of how. If he's lengthy-haired, be particular to sweep him out with a pin brush and/or metal comb in the previous AND after the bathtub or his coat would mat up. solid success!

Actually I have. I work with kittens all the time. They're so little and weak, they have to be washed by hand and if left wet, they die. So I have to use a hair dryer. They don't know what it is and aren't scared of it as long as you're very gentle and don't over do it.

Yikes!
We had a cat that fell off of the deck, right into the pan of oil fromt h oil change that my dad had just finished. It took HOURS to wash all the oil out of her fur, and we all had scratches to show for it. But I didn't try to blow dry her afterward.

yep, my cats love it...lol...I take one a time to the bathroom, shut the door, climb up on the sink and let the game begin. It is like my cat is a critter and I am scoring points each time I can catch it still long enough to hit it with a shot of heat.

watch out. The cat-lovers are all riled up tonight. First I p!ssed them off with my joke about feeding kittens to pythons, and then emo boy 911 asked questions about killing a cat by smothering it with a pillow.

No way, I don't have a death wish. It's bad enough when I give my cat a bath, he always goes for the jugular.
